Me launching the Art-tech Wind Dragon aka Park Flyer.

Yesterday Synnøve and I went out to the fields again, this time with more rubber bands but without the landings wheels, they fell of the night before. Luckily landing on grass is ok without the wheels, maybe better. The fun was that I manged to get the plane really high and land safe, despite the wind – fresh to strong breeze. I discovered that even if the plane gets totally tilted, it’s easy to straighten up. When the plane was high up I turned the engine off and just glided on the wind. Great feeling! We did some modifications on the airframe and then we filmed a bit. Check out the videos further down. Here is the simple mods:

Home made Windshield using wrapping plastic, packeting tape and rubber bands.
