I have an expresso machine, got a good one at a flea marked. Even got a grinder. But I don’t have that espresso tamper to pack the coffe into the holder (or whatever it’s called). They say the tamper should be used with a pressure of 30 lbs or 14 kilograms, or just even pressure. I’m having a hard time purchasing this tamper for a decent price. Today I found a poor mans’s alternative, using the cap of a mouth wash bottle. It’s all about having the right diameter and there are quite a few round caps and things that could potensially be used, either as is or cut.
